Allan Wu

I currently live in NYC.

I was born in New Jersey, but thankfully my parents loved me so I grew up in the SF Bay Area instead. I went to college at Yale where I studied English and Computer Science & Math. I also took a gap where I backpacked through Indonesia and lived in London.

Some things I’m interested in and care about:

• Surfing
  • Places I’ve surfed so far: Santa Cruz, San Diego, Bali, Azores, Peniche, Montauk, and the Rockaways
• Tacos
• Hosting events and suppers for my friends
• Basketball
  • Both playing and watching, though I’ve retired from my fantasy basketball days
• The outdoors
• Education, and access to it
  • I owe everything to my teachers and have had the fortune & privilege to stand on their shoulders
• Photography
• Reading & writing
